To follow up on my April 9th newsletter describing the process by which Fire Chief Dennis Mueller received approval to replace half his department’s apparatus, I thought you might like to see pictures of the new rigs. Chief Mueller was kind enough to share these photos, taken at the manufacturer’s plant few weeks before delivery. He also pointed out an error in my newsletter: the City adjusted his 7-year plan to a 10-year plan, so going forward apparatus will be replaced on a 10-year cycle.
