Thanksgiving is a good time to say "thank you" to all first responders and their families.
"Thank you:" two small words that I know you don’t hear often enough. They seem terribly inadequate to convey the depth of our gratitude for, and appreciation of, those who devote their lives to keeping their communities safe, healthy, and economically viable. Yet though it cannot begin to match the impact you have had on thousands of lives, sometimes saying "thank you" is the best that we can do. So thank you for your service – not just at Thanksgiving, but every day.
And thanks also to your family and friends who support your dedication to your work and are proud of the compassion and care that you provide to others every day in their times of need.
Happy Thanksgiving!
